173 + 177 = Funding Substandard Education

When you add it up,

The equation is simple.

Initiatives 173 and 177 will use funds for substandard schools.

When I was approached to create this web page,
my initial reaction was ...

"Why shouldn't a little public money

go to private schooling? After all -

aren't private school standards

higher? Maybe then I

could afford to send my kids!"

Then, I read the fine print!

As a mother of six children, I have often wished

I was able to send my children to private schools.

At first glance Initiatives 173 & 177 appear

to have the same goal in mind. However,

the type of private schools that would benefit

from these two initiatives are not the

type of schools I would consider sending my

children to under any circumstances!
